surprises & stickers :}
<- it is really sunday, not monday, even though tumblr says it’s monday.
anyways, this morning, i went to volleyball, just like every other sunday. so when i came home, my dad wanted everyone in the kitchen and so he was all, “so as you know we are the only family not going to thanksgiving, and i told your aunts we would webcam with them, and talk to them on the phone, but they thought it wouldn’t be the same sitting down and eating turkey together. so tita{aunt} lisa gave us 4 plane vouchers {dylan doesn’t need a ticket}, and we are going to st. louis for thanksgiving!” and of course we were all excited, and i am really excited. our flight is on tuesday, really early in the morning, and we land in st. louis around 3 o’clock. but get this, no one knows we’re going. so us being there is a total surprise, and the only people that know are the hosts, my aunt, my uncle, and their kids, or my cousins. so i’m really excited about that.
but, we are going to be gone from tuesday until saturday, so today i spent time with nahal, my best friend, and we just chilled at my house. when she first got here, we were just talking and chillin’, and playing our video games on our handhelds. {haha we are so cool.} then we ate a yummy dinner my mommy made us, and after that we went upstairs, and we were going to write. you see, me and nahal are like all about writing. she’s been writing longer than i have, but she got me into it. :} anyways, so we were going to write, but then i brought up the idea to decorate our composition books we write in with stickers. so i whipped out this sticker box my old baby sitters gave us, that they started when they were our age {at the time, not now}, and so we took a buncha stickers and filled the covers, and the insides of the covers with stickers. it looks really awesome, and now i just wanna fill the inside of the composition book with beautiful writing. but i can’t right now.
tonight i plan on staying up sorta late, so i can talk to nahal on aim as much as i can before the hectic world of packing starts tomorrow.
hopefully, i will be able to post something quick tomorrow, if there’s anything to report. until then, have a good one.
